Crankbaits are hard-bodied fishing lures with a plastic or fiberglass lip (bill) that makes them dive and wobble to mimic swimming baitfish or crawfish. They help anglers cover large areas fast and trigger aggressive strikes when they bounce off underwater objects. They come in two shapes a Shad Shape and Minnow Shape each shape has a specific purpose. There are several types of crankbaits here are just a few that we carry

Types of Crankbaits

• Square Bill: Short, square lip; dives 1 to 5 feet; great for bouncing off rocks and wood without getting stuck.
• Lipless: No lip; sinks fast; vibrates hard; great for ripping through grass.
• Medium Diving: Round, medium lip; dives 5 to 15 feet; targets ledges and weed lines.
• Deep Diving: Long, angled lip; dives 18 to 25+ feet; reaches offshore structure.
• Suspending Jerk Bait: a neutrally buoyant hard bait designed to hover motionless at its maximum diving depth on the pause.
